English as a New Language Teacher
In my sixteen years teaching English to speakers of other languages, I have taught K-12 and also adult education. I currently teach 8th grade ENL in a sheltered program in the City School District of Albany. I teach with the philosophy of, "If I am bored teaching the material, students must be bored learning it." Using technology in my classroom has helped engage students and also has helped propel their English proficiency.
