Threat Assessment Teams to Prevent School Violence

Our district has created a Threat Assessment Team, following the July 2018 recommendations of the U.S. Secret Service. This proactive approach to school safety uses a structured and research-based process to assess threats and concerning behavior, many of which originate on social media. Threat Assessment Teams to Prevent School Violence

Our district has created a Threat Assessment Team, following the July 2018 recommendations of the U.S. Secret Service. This proactive approach to school safety uses a structured and research-based process to assess threats and concerning behavior, many of which originate on social media. We have also adopted the free anonymous reporting app available for schools through Sandy Hook Promise. All documentation for our process is done through Google Drive.
